About Gargano
The Gargano is a mountainous promontory in the northernmost part of Puglia, Italy. The Gargano coast, especially in the area between Vieste and Mattinata, sculpted by the wind and the sea, is able to give unique scenarios, such as the sea caves, the natural Arco di San Felice, and the stacks (Faraglioni) of Pizzomunno and Baia delle Zagare, which was of inspiration for our brand.
The Faraglione in Baia delle Zagare which is also called "Arco Magico", is not simply a unique rock on the sea that represent the Gargano, but it's also the symbol of our origins, our childhood, our summer holidays and our traditional food. Gargano is our home.
Gargano offers lots of tasty Puglian street food, like small round focaccias, yummy pizzettes, golden-brown potato crocchette, stuffed focaccias, pizze fritte and more. It's not just about pleasing your taste buds, our mission is to offer you a true immersion into the authentic flavors of traditional Gargano, Puglian cuisine.
Meet Paolo Meccariello, the Italian food wizard from Foggia, Puglia, Italy, born back in '91. This guy's been cooking up a storm for about 15 years, starting from the streets of Foggia, then hitting up the food scene in Rome, and finally landing in the sunny vibes of Sydney, Australia in 2017. In those years, Paolo's been tweaking and perfecting his cooking style, soaking up skills, and becoming a bona fide expert. Now, he's teamed up with his partner-in-crime, Paola, to open their own joint. They're on a mission to make you taste the real deal – the flavors of Gargano, Puglia, right on your plate. Get ready to dive into a feast of tradition, spiced up with Paolo's unique twists. It's not just a meal; it's a trip to the heart of Puglian goodness.
